Indie hit Proteus will release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this autumn, Curve Studios has announced.
The console port of the award-winning title promises to be “even better than the PC original”, and is said to be “using the power of the PS3 and Vita to bring the absolute best Proteus experience” to console owners.
Curve describes Proteus as a game “all about exploration, mystery, colour and sound” which aims to immerse the player “in a dream like world”.
The game follows all four seasons through a procedurally-generated, pixelated world, with each item in the game world featuring its own musical trinket.
Proteus will also support Cross Buy, meaning fans will only have to buy one version to gain access to both the PS3 and Vita versions.
More on the console versions of Proteus will be revealed in the coming months.
