With Nintendo’s Brain Training series selling amazingly well it’s no surprise to see every publisher and their dog attempting to get in on the act. The latest title to join the growing catalogue of brain taxing titles is Eidos Interactive’s Dr. Reiner Knizia’s Brainbenders.

Developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS, Dr. Reiner Knizia’s Brainbenders features a collection of ingenious challenges created by Dr. Reiner Knizia. Players will travel to iconic cities and help solve the various conundrums that they encounter.

Challenges will include organising dancers at the Rio Carnival, memorising melodies at the Sydney Opera House, speed counting marine life off the coast of Cape Town and assembling stone tablets to uncover the secrets of the Aztec ruins.

Dr. Reiner Knizia’s Brainbenders will also feature wireless functionality, letting players send games to friends to see if they can beat a high score.

Look out for Dr. Reiner Knizia’s Brainbenders when it hits stores on April 18.
