D3 publisher has announced that alien-squashing sequel Earth Defense Force 5 will be heading to the US and UK later this year.
While a firm release date has yet to be confirmed, the game is now available for pre-order in the US, with both a Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition available for $59.99 and $89.99, respectively.
For the Deluxe Edition, you'll bag a copy of the game, PlayStation 4 theme, Decoy Launcher, Star Burst, 12 variations of additional weapons and support arms used to boost your ground troops, and two mission packs.
Earth Defense Force 5 includes over 100 missions set across five difficulty settings, with over 1,000 usable arms to get your paws on. Furthermore, players can bring along a mate to help vanquish the alien threat, with co-op available on a single screen and online.
