The game is in development at EA Canada and HB Studios and will challenge gamers to compete in a host of prestigious competitions, including the Six Nations, Lions Tour, Tri Nations, Guinness Premiership and the Super 14. The game is said to mirror the real game even closer than before, with new moves such as off-load passes, quick line-outs and quick penalties encouraging a fast flowing game.
As with all EA games, presentation will be top notch, with stadiums from all over the world, including Twickenham, Lansdowne Road, the Millennium stadium and Murrayfield. Commentary comes from the respected commentator Ian Robertson and All Black legend Grant Fox. The game is expected in 2006 at some point, but no official release date has been set.
