Arc Raiders has officially hit 14 million sales, according to Nexon’s “Investor Presentation Q4 2025.” Nexon, the parent company of Arc Raiders developer Embark since completing its acquisition in 2021, is full of praise for the PvPvE extraction shooter thanks to its strong commercial success and “exceptional” player count metrics.

The game was released on October 30, 2025, meaning it has reached 14 million sales in just over three months. Nexon notes that the figures are “up to date,” which presumably means February 12, the date the presentation was published. This is only one million short of the estimated 15 million sales earlier this month.

Not only is 14 million sales incredibly impressive at face value, but it’s also just six million shy of Helldivers 2’s 20 million lifetime sales, a milestone that took two years to achieve.

In addition to the reported sales, Nexon notes that Arc Raiders has shown “exceptional retention and strong player metrics, including a peak of 960,000 concurrent users in January,” meaning nearly one million simultaneous players across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game has also seen “approximately six million weekly active users sustained to date.”

Beyond its extremely strong sales, the player retention is truly phenomenal. We previously reported on Arc Raiders retaining 90% of its peak player count on Steam, while Battlefield 6 fell by over 80%, despite both titles launching in October last year.

Most live-service games released in 2025 lost over 90% of their player base, making Embark’s extraction shooter a notable outlier, especially as that trend has continued into 2026 with Highguard.

It remains to be seen how long Embark can maintain this momentum, but the studio has laid out a 2026 roadmap through April, when we will receive a new map described as “grander than what we’ve got right now.”

As for Nexon, CEO Junghun Lee has said that Arc Raiders’ “unprecedented success” has attracted interest from other developers, and it is rumored that Nexon is collaborating with Blizzard on a new StarCraft shooter.
