Dead By Daylight Vecna The First Killer perks and Stranger Things Chapter 2 release date

You can now play the Dead By Daylight Stranger Things Chapter 2 PTB on Steam. Provided you own DBD on Steam, the public test build allows you to experience the chapter’s Killer and Survivors early before the proper release date. We have shared the perks for Eleven and Dustin as the Survivors, and here you will find the Killer perks for Vecna, officially dubbed The First.

Dead By Daylight The First perks for Vecna

Vecna is the primary antagonist for Stranger Things’ fourth and fifth seasons. He is named The First in Dead By Daylight, and below are the perks for Vecna:

• Turn Back the Clock
  • After hooking a Survivor, for 40/50/60 seconds, press Ability button 1 to make target generator within 20/20/20 meters explode, lose 10/10/10% progress and start regressing.
• Secret Project
  • When a totem is blessed or cleansed, block a random unblocked generator for 20/25/30 seconds.
  • When 1 or more generators become blocked, you gain Undetectable for 30/30/30 seconds.
• Hex: Hive Mind
  • The first time you hook any Survivor, a Dull Totem becomes a Hex Totem.
  • Generators are highlighted; the intensity of generator auras reveals their repair progress.
  • When 1/1/1 generator remains, all remaining generators explode, lose 6/8/10% progress and start regressing, and the Hex Totem becomes dull.

DBD Vecna special abilities

Below is the special abilities for Vecna:

SPECIAL ABILITY: VINE ATTACK

• Press and hold the Power button to charge a Vine Attack. When charged, press the Attack button to activate it, creating a small area of effect on the ground.
• Any Survivors caught within the area of the Vine Attack earn a Worldbreaker token.

SPECIAL ABILITY: THE UPSIDE DOWN & UNDERGATE

• The Killer can enter The Upside Down to navigate the map quickly by tapping the Ability button. While in The Upside Down, the Killer can activate an Undergate attack to return to the map, creating a large area of effect on the ground. Survivors caught within its radius gain 2 Worldbreaker tokens.

SPECIAL CONDITION / ITEM: WORLDBREAKER & GRANDFATHER CLOCKS

• Once a Survivor has gained enough tokens, Worldbreaker activates, and the Worldbreaker Timer begins. While Worldbreaker is active, both the Vine Attack and
  Undergate attacks do damage to Survivors instead of adding Worldbreaker tokens, and 4 Grandfather Clocks activate.
• Worldbreaker lasts for a predetermined amount of time, based on the number of Survivors alive. Survivors can interact with the Grandfather Clocks spread around the map to speed up the Worldbreaker Timer.

Dead By Daylight Stranger Things Chapter 2 release date

Although the PTB is available to play now, the Dead By Daylight Stranger Things Chapter 2 release date for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch isn’t until January 27. You can play the PTB on Steam until January 13, but any progress you make will not carry over to the full release, nor will the Tier 3 perks for Vecna, Eleven, and Dustin.

BeHaviour hasn’t revealed a price for Stranger Things Chapter 2, but it will likely cost $12, similar to the first Dead By Daylight Stranger Things Chapter released in 2019. You can still purchase the first collaboration, and it stars Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington as the Survivors, with The Demogorgon as the Killer.

Vecna is the final Killer for DBD Year 10. After the leaked Survivor comes out in March, BeHaviour will transition into Year 11, for which nothing has leaked yet. While there are currently no Year 11 leaks, rumors suggest Friday the 13th’s Jason is eventually coming to DBD as a Killer, as well as Predator, who’s reportedly been “lined up since Alien”.
