Marvel Rivals drops early reveal for Elsa Bloodstone

NetEase has kicked off the new year by updating the official key art image of Marvel Rivals. To celebrate the arrival of 2026, the developers released a new image that updates the game’s massive group shot, finally giving two upcoming heroes their rightful place among the roster.

As previously revealed, Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone will come to Marvel Rivals in early 2026. The Merc With a Mouth was already added to the game, although he’s not a playable hero, while the new key art shows off Elsa and her weapons.

Elsa Bloodstone will most likely be a Duelist in Marvel Rivals

The new key art image shows Elsa Bloodstone wielding two weapons, which may indicate her role as a Duelist/damage dealer. While it’s no secret that Marvel Rivals has too many damage dealers at the moment, it’s been a while since NetEase has added one. After all, Deadpool’s role is still a mystery, and it will be interesting to see what it will be.

Seeing them both fully rendered in the official key art confirms that their designs are locked and loaded for the upcoming update. Deadpool will come to the game on January 16, while Elsa Bloodstone’s release date will be in mid-February.

Elsa Bloodstone could also be a Strategist, but the chance of her being a Vanguard is slim, due to her smaller frame. Her abilities likely won’t be revealed for a few more weeks, so for now, all we have is her design.

NetEase has promised big plans for Marvel Rivals in 2026, and releasing these two heroes is certainly a great start. With Deadpool’s release around the corner, the in-game roster will feature 46 heroes, and the game developer will keep releasing a new hero every month.
