Ubisoft has announced My Fitness Coach: Club, a new fitness game for the PS3, utilising PlayStation Move, and the Wii.

The game separates overall fitness routines into six core elements – core body, upper body, lower body, cardio, balance and flexibility – that help you focus on getting fit and reaching your goals.

Workouts have been developed by experienced fitness professionals to ensure that every move is performed precisely and effectively, which it is claimed will enable players to maximise their training following their personal coach’s feedback.

The Wii version uses a supplied USB camera to provide a picture-in-picture view that enables players to compare their own movements to the in-game coach for a more accurate replication of exercises.

The PS3 game allows players to upload music to their PS3 and perform workouts to the beat of their favourite songs. The PS3 analyses your playlist and suggests the music that suits the right rhythm for each workout.

DLC content adding up to 24 hours of workout time will also be offered on PS3.

My Fitness Coach: Club will be available in March 2011.

There’s no Xbox 360 version – at least not at this time – but this is likely to be because the publisher is currently pushing Your Shape on Kinect for Xbox 360.
