If you’ve been keeping up with anything Elden Ring related, you probably know all about Let Me Solo Him (formerly Her). They are an urban legend within the Elden Ring community, known for taking on Elden Ring’s hardest bosses (Malenia and Messmer) in other host’s worlds. Well, the myth has carried on over to other games, and The First Descendant has its first equivalent. There are a few slight differences, unfortunately. Where Let Me Solo Him relied on snappy gameplay, thousands of cumulative hours of practice, and unmatched skill, TFD’s counterpart relies on glitches to take down Frost Giants in one hit.

Still, it’s something.

This comes courtesy of Gamer JayZ on YouTube, who has discovered what might be one of the most over-powered builds in the game, and it needs to rely on Kyle as the Descendant of choice. In doing so, they adopted the moniker of Let Me Solo Him, and went on to beat the boss in as little as one-hit.

They recorded being able to conquer the fight against Gluttony in under 22 seconds, which is incredible considering the amount of time others will spend wrestling against the boss.

Essentially, Mental Focus and Elemental Damage are instrumental here. Channel these into your Ult Skill from your gun. If Kyle activates the skill right after Mental Focus stacks are fully spent on the gun, he will absorb the stack as Skill Power.

This is a bug, and will likely be patched by Nexon as soon as a fix is ready. Although, it has been fairly good at working around exploits and figuring out how to incorporate them in as actual features. Reddit responses to this post show a varied response: “Yea send me an invite…” writes one, while another says that they wonder “if [Nexon are] going to take action” since so many people are abusing the exploit now.

Valby, via Nexon.

People have said it’s likely going to be similar to the Valby Run situation, in which nobody was punished but the question of why are people exploiting this mechanic will be asked.
