Capcom has revealed that it will be running a network beta test for the highly anticipated Super Street Fighter II HD Remix. The test will run for eight weeks and will focus on ironing out any issues with the online play to ensure the final game delivers the best online gaming experience possible.

According to GameSpot, the beta will be open to Xbox LIVE Gold members, with a beta key offered with the purchase of Commando 3 this spring. The exact start date of the beta isn’t confirmed but it should begin shortly after the release of Commando 3.

A single stage will be available to play, with both Ken and Ryu available to select.

It currently looks as though the beta will only be available for the Xbox 360, with neither GameSpot or Capcom’s blog making any reference to the PlayStation 3.
