After the news earlier in the week that Super Mario Odyssey sold over 2 million copies worldwide, Nintendo has today confirmed that the game has become the fastest-selling Super Mario title ever in Europe.
The previous record was held by Super Mario Galaxy 2 and was comfortably smashed in just three days with Odyssey only having launched this past Friday, October 27.
The achievement is well deserved – our Colm called the game ‘a masterpiece’ and scored it a perfect 10 in his review.
