As part of the much loved Nintendo veteran’s GDC keynote last night, he presented a trailer for Mario’s latest adventure, Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. The game is looking pretty impressive and easily the most graphically advanced game we’ve seen so far for the Wii.
After the trailer had finished he announced to the jubilant audience that they would all be able to play the game this year. While not a clear-cut announcement that the game will be released in 2007, it seems pretty likely that this is what Miyamoto was saying.
