Gears of War still top on Xbox Live

The latest weekly Xbox Live Activity Chart puts Gears of War as the game with most global unique users connected to Xbox Live.

Having only recently leapfrogged the mighty Halo 2 as the most played Xbox game (both Xbox platforms) when connected to Xbox Live, Gears of War looks set to continue its reign at the top.

In the Xbox 360 chart, Gears is followed by Call of Duty 3, the Superman Returns demo, Xbox Live Arcade title Small Arms, and the Rainbow Six Vegas multiplayer demo.

On the Xbox Live Arcade chart, Contra, UNO, Defender and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 lay chase to Small Arms, the frenetic weapon-based beat 'em up that was released last week.
