Red Steel is Ubisoft’s big new IP for Nintendo’s Wii console, and until now the game’s multiplayer modes have been kept hidden away from public eyes. The newly released trailer shows off the game’s four-player split-screen mode, with four trendy looking people each with a nunchuck and remote battling it out for victory.

Obviously as a promotional video you can also expect to see plenty of overacting from the bunch of “friends“, including a moment when a guy actually leaps off of the sofa to take cover behind a book shelf. The game doesn’t pull off this level of interactivity, but the new trailer is certainly worth a look.

Red Steel is released exclusively for the Wii on December 8 across Europe.
