A video posted on Instagram last night by SCEE UK’s PR manager reveals PlayStation 4’s boot up sounds, including the beep and initial fan noise, with the former appearing identical to PS3’s. You can take a listen to it below.
Of course, it’s possible it could all change prior to release – it isn’t clear from the video whether the PS4 shown is a final retail model or a devkit. But still, nice beep, yeah?
Alongside the video, Sony also released a bunch of new screenshots showing off PS4’s new user interface, including the home screen, video editing and live streaming.
PlayStation 4 releases in the UK on November 29.
