Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V is in development with the game’s first trailer to be released November 2, 2011.
The Rockstar Games website currently features only the GTA5 logo and confirmation of the trailer.
This comes as a huge surprise to the industry, just when we though the only thing left to get hyped about was the autumn games glut.
First impressions of the logo are that the “V” gives the impression of a bank note. The presence of a trailer, assuming we see some glimpse of the game, also suggests a 2012 release date.
