A demo for upcoming driving game Racedriver: GRID is planned for the start of May, VideoGamer.com has learned.

Codemasters’ latest in the popular driving series is expected sometime in the summer on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Nintendo DS.

Speaking in an interview with VideoGamer.com, chief games designer Ralph Fulton also revealed that there is no lead platform for the game and that the new EGO engine has meant “there is no significant difference” between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

He said: “EGO is a multi-platform engine which has been designed to make developing on all three platforms as simple as possible. We don’t have a lead platform, and the differences between the consoles will be pretty negligible.”
