FIFA 14 is now available to download free of charge for iOS and Android, EA has announced.

EA promises that this year’s mobile game is the “most authentic football game” for smartphones, tablets and the app store.

The game features all the leagues, clubs and players from the console editions, together with Ultimate Team and a new Touch Flow Controls scheme. Also included is the soundtrack from the console games, featuring tracks from Empire of the Sun and Vampire Weekend.

Furthermore, during launch week on the Google Play Store you’ll receive a free Gold Premium Pack.

Be aware that although the game is free, you will have to pay to unlock three extra modes: Manager, Tournament and Kick Off!. A Premium Unlock is priced £2.99.
