Have you ever wanted to pre-order an upcoming video game and thought "man, I would totally pre-order that game if it was £2 cheaper?" Of course you have, you frugal little scamp.

Thankfully, the noble and wise heroes at Zavvi have teamed up with VideoGamer.com to offer you exactly that. Well, they're actually offering 3000 VideoGamer.com members £2 off, but you're definitely our favourite. Just don't tell the others we said that.

That's two entire pounds off any pre-order from a range of virtually every upcoming title you'd actually want to pre-order: Battlefield 3! Modern Warfare 3! FIFA 12! Assassin's Creed: Revelations! And many more!

How do you get your cash-savvy hands on such an opportunity? It's easy - you just need to be a registered member of VideoGamer.com and then hammer the "Give me my key!" button below like there's no tomorrow. Or, preferably, just quietly click once and wait for your code to be delivered.

Once you have your magical code (and, believe us, it's more magical than Merlin at a Harry Potter convention) you simply need to visit the super special secret VideoGamer.com page on Zavvi and browse their bounteous catalogue of highly anticipated wondergames.

You'll need to prepare your mouse-clicking finger for code redemption by September 30, 2011.

I wonder if Zavvi's system is for some reason taking 10% off instead of £2...

Is that a challenge to see if we regulars can't use up every last one ourselves? Lets do this, fellow VG-ites!!

I think you can order multiple games at the same time, and the discount applies? But says only 1 key per person.

Awesome! Just pre-ordered my copy of Saints Row 3 with this little beauty. Am I being a wee-bit childish when there's Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 and even Skyrim coming out around October/November, that I'm more interested in the silly toilet humour approach of SR3? I just had to fall for the Professor Genki stuff
