In a candy-coated riposte to those who say the Nintendo Switch has no games, Nintendo is working hard to prove that it does, announcing Yoshi on the Nintendo Switch, with a new art style, coming in 2018. Seriously, it looks like it’s been made from an art and craft set. In a good way!
Following on from the wonderfully crafted and commercially underappreciated Yoshi’s Woolly World, Yoshi for the Nintendo Switch, features Yoshi heading out on a new action platforming adventure. Exploring a world that looks just like a miniature diorama, you can interact with the levels in unique ways. A stomp action enables you to flip the level around, unearthing hidden areas and a whole new way to approach each level.
Honestly, it all looks absolutely lovely. Nice and colourful and has that inimitable Nintendo quality splashed all across it.
