Xbox One will include a headset in the box after all, Microsoft has confirmed.
The news came via an update on Microsoft’s official news channel Xbox Wire, where Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson confirmed that “both the Day One and standard editions of the console [will] include this mono chat headset”.
The inclusion of the headset is Microsoft’s third major Xbox One backtrack, following the decision to reverse its policy on DRM and indie development.
Microsoft has previously said that Xbox One would not include a headset due to the inclusion of Kinect.
