Xbox One Family Sharing was a casualty of Microsoft’s U-turn on its digital policy for the console, and it’s a feature many people were sad to see disappear.

For now the game sharing feature isn’t part of what Xbox One will offer, but Albert Penello, Xbox’s senior director of product planning and management, says it will be implemented one day.

“I get a lot of mails saying ‘god, please bring back the family sharing.’ We’d love to figure out how to bring that back. I still think it was a good idea,” said Penello. “Maybe it was a little too soon for some people, but I still think there were a lot of good ideas in there. And we’ll bring it back when the time is right. “

Xbox One will launch November 22 priced £429, but act fast if you want a unit for day one.

Now we’ve all had to time digest what Microsoft was trying to achieve with its original Xbox One vision, do you feel it acted too fast in changing its policies?
