Worms creator Team17 has announced Flockers, its first new IP in over a decade.
Reporting from today’s PlayStation Open Day in Royal Leamington Spa, Develop notes that the logo indicates a Steampunk theme, and that Worms’ sheep may feature.
“This is the most important game we’ve worked on in over a decade,” said Team17 MD Debbie Bestwick.
“Team17 has repositioned itself in recent years as a digital publisher, but this move reiterates that it is still dedicated to games development – and not just on more iterations of Worms.
Team17 has promised it will release details about the game next week.
