New kid on the block the Nintendo 3DS was outsold by the Nintendo DS in America during April, sales tracking firm The NPD Group has revealed.
We don’t know actual numbers for the DS, but according to Marketwatch the 3DS shifted 194,000 units.

Despite its premium price over the Nintendo DS, we still expected the 3DS to outsell its two-dimensional sibling.
3DS managed around 400,000 units in March – seven days on sale – meaning the handheld has seen sales half month-on-month despite enjoying a complete month on sale.
