The Xbox 360 brings some much needed life to an otherwise stagnant week for the chart. Not only has Dead or Alive 4 topped the All Formats Chart, but three other Xbox 360 titles have made the top 20. Project Gotham Racing 3 climbs to No.9, Perfect Dark Zero re-enters the top twenty at No.14, and Sega’s Condemned makes a huge leap up to No.16.
Movement elsewhere in the chart is minimal, with last week’s top five all moving down one place to make way for Dead or Alive 4. Other than Dead or Alive 4 the only new entry is Torino 2006 (No.30), the official game of the 2006 Winter Olympics.
The Post Christmas game drought is slowly coming to an end with a slue of titles expected in the coming weeks. Next week is still a little sparse on quality titles, but does see the release of We Love Katamari on the PlayStation 2. Other titles that may make a chart appearance are Urban Reign, Devil Kings and Rugby Challenge 2006.
