Kotaku’s got hold of cover art for what’s been confirmed as the upcoming instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise – Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

The artwork features Assassin’s Creed II hero Ezio surrounded by a group of unknown characters, presumably also assassins.

There’s also some info taken from the box’s back cover:

“Live and breathe as Ezio, now a legendary master assassin, in his struggle against the Templar order. Lead your own brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy. Rome.

“And for the first time, take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style.

“A never-before-seen online multiplayer experience.

“Lead your own brotherhood of assassins, as Ezio, and conquer Rome.”

The cover art also states the game will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this autumn.

Furthermore, Ubisoft’s actually confirmed that the box art is real and that more information will be provided next week.
