There were no new retail releases this week, but this doesn’t mean PlayStation 3 owners have to go a week without buying a newly released title. This week’s PSN Store update includes Toy Home, a bright and colourful title set in the world of toys, and Populous: The Beginning, the classic god game from Bullfrog. Toy Home is priced £4.99 and Populous only £3.49.
Also available today is a multiplayer demo for Sierra Entertainment’s TimeShift, giving players the chance to try out grenades which when detonated engulf players in a time bubble making them easy targets.
There’s also a few DLC packs on offer. Unlock the boss battles in Guitar Hero III, get a festive paint job in MotorStorm or splash out £3.99 for a rather good Warhawk: Operation Omega Dawn expansion.
As always there’s a bunch of videos, wallpapers and themes, all available for free.
