Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Falling Skies: The Game, a strategy game due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this October that looks a lot like Firaxis’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
Based on TNT’s sci-fi drama, the video game “will dive [players] into a world gone wrong” where they’ll “command a squad of recently-rescued survivors who have been recruited into the human resistance fighting to save the planet”.
But despite having been originally announced for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U, Nintendo’s platform is not listed in today’s press release nor mentioned in the new trailer.
Has the Wii U version been canned? VideoGamer.com has contacted Bandai Namco for comment.
