Epic Games has rolled out a new Fortnite update, and it looks like data miners were on point; the Chiller (aka Freeze Trap) is now part of the battle royale package.
As expected, the item essentially freezes anyone who steps on it and sends them sliding about all over the gaff. This gives you a chance to leg it and get out of the danger zone while they're busy fighting off its effects.
Elsewhere, battle royale's Playground has been buffed with new custom options, including the ability to alter starting health, gravity, and more. Finally, Save the World players can get their paws on a meaty Lead Sled Hammer weapon.
