Electronic Arts has confirmed that Battlefield 5 will officially be revealed during a livestream on May 23.
The date was previously outed after eagle-eyed fans pieced together a Battlefield 1 Easter egg using morse code, which led to a teaser site. However, we now have a time for the reveal: 9.00pm BST, and it'll be hosted by Trevor Noah of The Daily Show fame.

EA hasn't shared anymore details on Battlefield 5 yet, although there's been plenty of rumours doing the rounds the past few months. Chiefly, we're expecting the game to take place in World War II and may feature a battle royale mode, with co-op also reportedly on the cards.
There's definitely going to be a single-player campaign too, so no worries there.
Battlefield 5 is scheduled for release later this year, presumably on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
