Nintendo has announced the latest batch of NES titles to join the Switch Online lineup, with Adventures of Lolo, Ninja Gaiden, and Wario's Woods coming to the hybrid platform on December 12.

It's nice to see Ninty dipping into its back catalog a little bit more with Adventures of Lolo, which is an obscure puzzler produced by the late Satoru Iwata. Ninja Gaiden probably needs no introduction; it's one of the most difficult games of the 8-bit era, and very much the Dark Souls of its time. In other words, you'll die. A lot.

Finally, Wario's Woods is a bit like the Tetris-inspired Dr. Mario, in the sense it's a falling block puzzle game. It came out on the NES in 1994, making it the last licensed game for the system before it was discontinued in the US a year later. A SNES version was also released that same year.

Nintendo Switch Online launched in September and will set you back £17.99 for a 12-month subscription.
