The original Epic Mickey could be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3, with Junction Point boss Warren Spector reportedly “desperate” for the port to happen. Epic Mickey launched in late 2010 exclusively on Wii, earning an 8/10 in our review.

When asked by GameInformer about the possibility of porting the Wii game to Xbox 360 and PS3, Spector made his wishes quite clear.

“I will tell you I desperately want to do it, and other than that I have no comment at this time. I just think it would be cool for people to see where the story started, so we’ll see,” he said.

“We sold many millions of copies of [Epic Mickey] on just the Wii, and being on the Wii was great. It was a perfect way to reintroduce Mickey as a hero in video games.”

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is due for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii in September.
