The identity theft protection service given free to members of PlayStation Network and Qriocity is starting to roll out across the US. Shacknews reports that emails to eligible members (anyone with an active account as of April 20, 2011), are being sent out.
Those eligible need to head over to the sign up page, where you’ll be asked to log in using your PSN or Qriocity account email address.
Applicants will be given a 12-month membership of AllClear ID Plus, a service which provides alerts, insurance coverage and access to fraud investigators.
PlayStation Network originally went down on April 20 after what Sony described as an “external intrusion” on the server. It wasn’t until April 26 that Sony admitted PSN account information was compromised.
