SEGA has today announced PictoImage, a DS party game which sees players taking turns to draw the image of a word, while other players race against the clock to guess the word first.
Words are generated at random and can be anything from apple, to a waterfall or butler.
Multiplayer mode allows up to eight players to enjoy a variety of game types. In Picture Pass a subject must be sent down a chain of players in picture form, with the last player in the chain having to correctly identify what the picture is meant to be.
In single and two-player mode the game will get players guessing an image from a library of 300 drawings created by people of all ages. A tutorial mode will also teach players how to draw different images from the four main categories: animals, objects, food and other.
PictoImage is scheduled for release exclusively for Nintendo DS in August 2008.
