Future titles from Rockstar Games will be revealed soon, Take-Two has confirmed as part of its year-end financial results.
In a press release detailing the financial results the publisher noted: “Rockstar Games also is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.”
This was later repeated by Take-Two CEO Straus Zelnick during the associated earnings call.
“Rockstar games is, of course, also hard at work and some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,” he said.
Future projects doesn’t necessarily mean new games, and could equally apply to expansions to its still selling Grand Theft Auto 5. Of course, fans have been calling for a new Red Dead title, and it’s something Take-Two has been hinting at for years, calling it a “permanent franchise” in the same bracket at GTA 5 and Borderlands.
Take-Two has confirmed it will be attending E3, so could we get a major Rockstar Games announcement at the show?
