The voice actor behind Castlevania's Simon Belmont has confirmed that a third season of the blood-thirsty animated series has been given the go-ahead by streaming giant Netflix.
Richard Armitage revealed the news during a chinwag with Digital Spy, saying 'We're about to record a third (season).' That's despite the fact Castlevania Season 2 has yet to even air.
Netflix itself hasn't said anything about a third season of the popular show, although considering its success thus far, we wouldn't at all be surprised to see it rise from its coffin for another round.
Still, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Season 2 has yet to grace our screens, so Armitage was quick to tease what's coming:
'The son of Dracula and my character get much more collaborative,' he said. 'I think that's one of the most exciting things, they start to really work together.'
Castlevania Season 2 is comprised of eight episodes and will air this summer.
