The standard edition of Rainbow Six Siege will be a digital-only release on PC, Ubisoft has confirmed to UK retailer ShopTo.
Instead, only the Art of Siege collector’s edition will be available on-disc on PC. The game will be available on-disc on PS4 and Xbox One.
Confirmation follows the news last month that Batman: Arkham Knight will also be skipping a physical release on PC, and suggests that publishers may be starting to back away from disc releases on the platform as digital takes precedence.
