Quantic Dream has announced Beyond: Two Souls, a new supernatural game coming to PS3.
A real time demo for the game premiered during Sony’s E3 press conference, giving a first look at lead character Jodie Holmes, played by Academy Award nominee Ellen Page.
The game covers 15 years of Jodie’s life and deals with living between our world and the other side.
In the demonstration Jodie is being talked to by a police officer, but sits silently. A coffee cup begins to bubble and later flies from the table.
Seemingly aware of what’s about to happen a SWAT team enters the police station searching for Jodie.
A hugely impressive montage later – showing some kind of supernatural powers – and the demo is over.
Cage says the game will be emotional, mature and unique and hints that player choices will affect the outcome of the game.
No release date was announced.
