As PCGamesN reports, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players have been experiencing some pretty hefty frame rate drops thanks to the game’s latest patch.
Those on the PUBG subreddit have been mentioning how the frame rate is being hit hard when you loot bodies, and when you open and close the map. User Ludwic stated that he was getting 100 FPS prior to the update, and is now ‘back to 50 FML.’ FML indeed, Ludwic.
Marketing & Events Manager for the game, Sammie Kang, tweeted a disgruntled user to let them know that the studio is aware of the issues plaguing players, and are investigating it.
We are aware and will investigate soon.

With the full PC release approximately a month away, and an Xbox One launch on the horizon, hopefully these problems can be ironed out pretty swiftly.
