PlayStation Network will be taken offline for planned network maintenance on Monday, January 27, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced.

The downtime is planned to last approximately six hours from 5.30pm until 11.30pm GMT.

Those who have signed in to PSN any time since January 20 will be able to play games online and access apps such as Netflix during the downtime.

The PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will not be available.
