The controller for the next generation Xbox is, according to Kotaku sources, pretty much the same as the pad we’ve been using for the Xbox 360.
Whilst all the buttons and sticks look the same, Kotaku isn’t able to confirm whether or not the buttons and in particular the d-pad respond any differently.
One thing the website can say is that the new controller is apparently a little smaller than what Xbox gamers are used to holding, perhaps with more refined contours yet retaining the same shape.
Microsoft is rumoured to be readying the next Xbox announcement for later this month.
