Japanese video game magazine Famitsu has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is to be released in Japan on June 23. This will be of huge interest to import gamers eager to get their hands on Link’s latest adventure, although you’ll need to have a good understanding of Japanese to get the most from the game.

Phantom Hourglass is the sequel to The Wind Waker and is set several months after events from the GameCube title. The game even borrows the same cell-shaded visual style.

There’s currently no official release date for North America and Europe, although one hopes Nintendo manages to get the game out in both territories in time for Christmas.
