The recommended system requirements for Resident Evil 7 on PC have been released, informing gamers what it will take to run the game at 1080p at both 30fps and 60fps.

1080p 30fps

OS: WINDOWS 7,8,8.1,10 64-BIT

Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300 or better

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or better

DirectX: Version 11

1080p 60fps

OS: WINDOWS 7,8,8.1,10 64-BIT

Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or AMD or better

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or better

DirectX: Version 11

The GTX 960 is by no means a top end card, so this should give hope to PC gamers with a new GeForce or Radeon card that 4K – or something close – will be achievable.

The Steam listing notes that “the game is still undergoing development, so all PC requirements are subject to change”.

Resident Evil 7 launches in January for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
