Folders of cardboard rejoice as Nintendo has announced that it has released a software update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch that allows you to control your kart with a Nintendo Labo Toy-Con controller.
The move marks the first time the creations from Nintendo Labo can be used in another game, and means you can use the Toy-Con Motorbike as another option for controlling your kart either via docked mode with your TV or plug your Switch directly into the Motorbike's dashboard to play in portable mode. Smart Steering and auto-accelerate options are also included when playing with a Toy-Con to make things a little easier.
