Have you ever been playing Destiny 2 and wished the dulcet tones of Ghost could be heard around your own home? Us neither, but Activision today has sent a press release announcing a partnership with Amazon tying together the information finding services of Alexa to ‘enhance’ your Destiny 2 experience.

Available from today, the Destiny 2 Ghost Skill for Alexa when enabled will essentially cause the dulcet tones of Nolan North to come out of your device when you activate it with the phrase ‘Alexa, ask Ghost about…’ followed by stuff about the game, for instance you can ask when your friends are online. Here’s a video showing off the feature:

However, that’s not all. As part of this partnership Amazon will also be selling an Alexa device specifically designed to appear as a functioning Ghost speaker unit. It’s actually a pretty cool design if you’re a fan of the games, although we’re not sure how long the novelty will last unless you’re a huge fan of the series. It’s available for pre-order now for £79.99 for release on December 19 if you’re still interested.
