Destiny 2’s first raid, Leviathan, hasn’t been live for that long, but people are already finding glitches to exploit, which is sort of traditional with Destiny raids. There’s the gap in the map that you can get through to run around outside the raid area proper, and now there’s an exploit that will prevent any adds from spawning in the final boss fight with Calus. But one of your team has to have really good timing.

The exploit was first spotted on the Destiny subreddit, posted by o7yourdesires. Here’s how it works.  Instead of triggering the fight normally, by shooting Calus’ chalice out of his hand, one player stays on one of the platforms at the back of the room, while the others go up to Calus and stand by his feet. He’ll stomp, which will kill everyone near him. The remaining player walks into the lamp to take damage and simultaneously goes to the change character or leave to orbit screen.

This is where it gets trickier. One of the other players has to watch the final team member as they commit suicide by lamp, and call out when the countdown showing all players are dead comes on screen. It needs to be timed so that the lone player switches character or goes to orbit between the countdown reaching one second and the raid resetting.

The remaining players will spawn back in the throne room, and can re-invite the player who left to complete the raid, but this time no additional enemies will spawn in the throne room at any stage. You’ll still have to fight Calus, which can be hard enough by itself, but this will make the whole fight easier. S’a good exploit if you’re rerunning the raid for more loot.
