Nintendo has announced plans to launch two themed pieces of DLC for Wii U platformer Sonic Lost World, starting today with Yoshi’s Island Zone.
The free content sees Sonic and Yoshi’s worlds “collide with pipes, coins, Shy Guys [and] Piranha Plants”, and sees Sonic dashing through levels decked out with Yoshi’s Yarn-style patchwork.
The content is available to download from the Wii U eShop now for free, with the first trailer available above.
But that isn’t the only crossover DLC planned for Sonic Lost World: a second piece of Nintendo-themed DLC based on The Legend of Zelda franchise will also be available for the game in early 2014.
