Nintendo has super-glued a spring 2019 launch window to the upcoming Yoshi game for Switch, which has been officially named Yoshi's Crafted World as expected.
The console maker confirmed the news during its Direct event last night, where it revealed a few additional details on the game, including the presence of a co-op mode. It also seems that Yoshi's buddy Poochi is making a comeback; you may remember the lovable pooch first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and once again looks to be valuable companion.
Yoshi's Crafted World has been in the pipeline for a while now, having first been announced back at E3 2017. From the look of things, the game has a similar aesthetic to Yoshi's Woolly World on Wii U, which launched in 2015.
Hopefully we'll get a fresh look at Yoshi's Crafted World at the Tokyo Game Show, so stay tuned.
