Yoshi Circuit has been confirmed for inclusion in Mario Kart 8’s first add-on pack, Nintendo has revealed.
Originally found in Mario Kart: Double Dash on GameCube back in 2003, the classic circuit has been given a pretty impressive makeover for its Wii U comeback with shiny new visuals and a remixed score.
The November add-on pack will feature eight courses, four of which are now confirmed: Yoshi Circuit, Wario’s Gold Mine, an F-Zero course and an ExciteBike track.
In addition to the new circuits, Link, Zelda, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach are included as new playable racers, whilst the Blue Falcon, B-Dasher, a Zelda Master Bike and a Tanooki Truck increase the vehicle count.
Pack 1 will launch in November priced £7, with Pack 2 not scheduled to arrive until May 2015. You can also opt to buy both packs for only £11.
