Following on from the announcement that it’d be publishing Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters, Nintendo has revealed in a new trailer that the game will release on September 29 in Europe and North America. Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters is the definitive sequel to the popular open world RPG Yo-kai Watch, which was released in Europe last year

Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters sees a group of sinister Yo-kai spirits arrive in Springdale, determined to steal the Yo-kai Watch and bring havoc to the town. Playing as Nate or Katie, the player will have to to foil this wicked plot, setting out on the ultimate journey into the mysterious and mischievous world of the Yo-kai.

Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters game has the same full Yo-kai Watch 2 experience, with content from the standalone games Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls, and much more. Psychic Specters is the definitive edition of both games in one package, featuring a new Yo-kai, 12 exclusive quests, new locations and the ability to hop on the Hexpress to the Gera Gera resort. The game also comes with the ability to befriend wicket Yo-Kai and bosses from the previous games, and also an expanded version of the Yo-kai Watch Blaster local co-operative mode to beat new bosses.

Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters launches on September 29 for the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles.
